Okay so we all were wondering when and where the next AFA was gonna be when AFA09 ended. SO... ITS OUT. ITS IN SINGAPORE. ITS DURING NOVEMBER! 8D

The ticketing is a BIT confusing nao. Strange too. But all the moar cheaper.
The prices for the tickets are stated below.

Yeah. So the main highlights I'm more excited about is for one the BUTLER CAFE. YESH. 8D FINALLY. A FRIGGIN BUTLER CAFE. WOO.
S'called Atelier Royale. The preview wasn't very promising though. But still. A BUTLER CAFE is a big deal for fangirls (It's Kuroshitsuji's fault. Dx). Plus, the logo's really pretty.

The next highlight is the coming of angela. The duo. But unfortunately I'll be just going to see the cafe, the cosplay, the festival aaaand Akiba Town. . :3

According to Felicia a lot of people said that the AFA'09 wasn't fun.
So who went?
I want to know what you guys think since some of us were overseas or weren't free and that kind of stuff. :D
And also what we missed out like the highlights and what you didn't like and if it was very crowded(etc.).

Its an awesome and beautiful anime with loads of bishounens. (; okay okay. I didn't mean that... :X Maybe I did. But anyway, before I get carried away... ON TO THE SUMMARY!

Summary

The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11's. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11's who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia's brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.

1. Do you think Lelouch is still alive...? O_O
If so, why?

-Hmmm. Thats a question thats pretty hard to answer no...? There's evidence that he's alive though. People keep saying that there was a Geass Transfer from Charles to him. And also. Why hide the person driving the cart at the ending? (; I think that's pretty concrete evidence. :X But you don't know what directors and producers can do... (;

2. Who's your favourite character? :D

-Well. Its honestly... Suzaku. But I find him really weird/irritating sometimes. Though I feel that all he wants is the same as Lelouch - Peace. (: So I can understand why his attitude is like that. (: But Lelouch is really kewl too!

3. Overall, what do you think of this anime? And what is the rating you'll give?

-I think the plot and everything is really awesome. (; Definitely a must-watch! :D 5/5.

Haven't been updating this blog for quite some time but I'm back here with new updates!
Had been busy with school and stuffs but I promise I'll update the discussion post some time around this or next week.

Okay, I'm here to update you people about this event, "Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention 2009". It will be held on 14 to 16 August 2009 at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Convention Hall 401 and 402.

There will be exhibitions displayed and some items for you to buy.

Firstly, I apologise for such a late post after the theme had started as I was quite busy for the past few days, some tests are coming up for the followings days/weeks.

Short summaries.
It's Yui Hirasawa's first year in high school, and she's eagerly searching for a club to join. At the same time, Ritsu Tainaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bass player, are desperately trying to save the school's light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again. Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy.

Questions[and my opinions] time!
1. Do you like this anime?

I personally think this is a nice anime at the beginning.
However, the ending disappointed me.
The ending doesn't even feel like an ending at all, which I'm hoping for a season two.

2. Who is your favourite character in the anime?

As for me, it's "Mio".
She looks pretty, in my opinion.
She is also funny, her reactions are way too exaggerating.
She has a nice voice too.

Second favourite character is "Yui".
She is cute, and her looks are nice.
Her life is just like mine, only better.

Through the whole six years in elementary, I've lived a carefree life, which obviously, I did not have any co-curricular activities. When I entered secondary school, I joined a band as my co-curricular activities since it is a complusory thing[Been forced to join the band, I hate it so much, it makes my life miserable]. Well, Yui is better than me as she actually enjoyed herself in the light music club.

3. What is your rating for this anime?

My personal rating at first was 5/5, however, due to the unexpected ending, I've rated it 4/5 in the end instead.
The anime was really exciting and awesome at first, but the ending was a total disaster.

Don't you think that an anime should have a good ending to be considered as a good anime?
Of course, some other things do affect the anime too.

For those who had not watched this anime, I recommend you to watch it.
Yes, the ending is not that nice, however, it is still quite a nice anime.

Hoping for a second season for K-On!. It can't just end like that, you know.

Hiies, fellow friends!
Cherilynn, Pimnara and me(iNekox3™) had agreed on a new way of having our themes and I'm here to update about it!

Our old way of having the theme for the next dicussion is following the alphabatic orders of our anime list, by combining "Completed animes" and "On-going animes" together and start from A to Z.

However, it will no longer be like that way, people!
We had thought for awhile, what if we are currently at a discussion of the anime that starts with "C" and a new anime that starts with "A" had just been released?
We would not like to go back to A for the themes and causes confusion for all of you.

So, this is what we, the owners of this blog, had agreed on.
We will pick out those animes that are either new, hot, interesting and exciting for our themes to discuss! This means we will no longer put the alphabatic order in our minds, we would ignore the alphabatic orders and pick out those popular or animes that are interesting to us to discuss!

New theme has started!
The theme is Air Gear.
Short summaries
Minami “Ikki” Itsuki, is a student and a delinquent. Also known as the “Unbeatable Babyface,” Ikki is the leader of the youth gang by the name of “East Side Gunz.” Upon his return home after being humiliated by a street gang of Storm Riders called the Skull Saders Ikki discovers a secret hidden from him by his benefactors, the Noyamano sisters. The sisters belong to a group of Storm Riders who go by the team name of Sleeping Forest. Keen on helping Ikki to regain his confidence and pride, they supply him with a pair of Air Trecks (abbreviated as “AT”). Ikki eventually settles his grudge with the Skull Saders, but in the process he receives more than the simple satisfaction of revenge. Determined to experience the sensation of “flight” for as long as he can, our headstrong protagonist is quickly sucked into the mysterious, yet irresistible world of Air Treck.

Alrights, I could only ask some questions and post a little of my opinions for this theme because I have not watched this anime.

The reason is that I've had not come upon this anime until this blog was created.
Upon seeing the preview images, summaries and genres, it did not interest me much.
So, I've decided not to watch it.

However, this is wrong for an anime freak.
Perhaps someday I might decide to watch it.
So, tell me how you feel about this anime, I might change my mind.

That's about what I can contribute to this theme, maybe I would go to the internet and research for its songs and post it on here since the other two owners doesn't seem to be actively posting here.

Today's discussion will be the anime "Air".

Short summaries.
It's about a guy, Yukito Kunisaki, seeking for a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu Kamio. Misuzu Kamio quickly makes Yukito Kunisaki her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito Kunisaki decides to stay in the small town, and continued searching for the winged girl that his mother had searched for in her life.

Well, Misuzu Kamio is my all time favourite character in the anime "Air",

Do you like this anime?

I personally thinks it's a nice anime.
The characters are quite well-drawn, at least better than most of the animes I had seen around.
The story plot is interesting.

I somehow likes supernatural animes, sometimes.
So this anime sort of fits in.

I might probably rate it 3.8.
The characters appearences, personality wins.
Especially the dog, Potato, bonus points.
Plot of story is interesting, wins.
However, I sometimes also prefers horror, and more of comedies, so this pulled the rating down.

Sorry for my craps and stuffs.

Just to let you people take note, the Anime list are still not done yet.
It's mostly edited and put up by Pimnara in the end.
She would probably continue tomorrow.

I had also updated some new stuffs on the FAQs page, you might want to take a look.
We came out with this activity for our posts.
I am going to explain here more detailed, in case it isn't clear in the FAQs page.

This is just an example.
Let's say the activity starts on 10 May o9.
We will have a theme, which is an Anime from the list.

Let's say the theme on 10 May o9 is the Anime "o7 Ghost".
We will then post up stuffs related to o7 Ghost like images, videos, songs, questions, etc. to discuss about for two weeks. After the two weeks, we will change the theme into another Anime for another discussion for another two weeks and so on...

In simple, one month will have two theme be discussed.
If you have anything you would like to share about the current theme of the weeks, feel free to contact us via our emails with the contents of things you would like to share.
We would go through it and if we approve it, we would post it up to discuss.

Hope you understand this activity that will be going around in this blog.
For those members, feel free to discuss with us! Contribute more! It will be greatly appreciated.
